Advent Door no: 9

A Christmassy bauble is pictured on door number 9. Bringing magic and sparkle to a decorated Christmas tree.

Baubles come from 16th century Germany, from glassblowers who began to create glass ornaments in a fruit, berry and nut shape to decorate Christmas trees. Made popular in England when Queen Victoria and Prince Albert were pictured with Baubles on a decorated tree.
