Postage and Packaging

We pack originals carefully: wrapped in acid-free tissue, cushioned with bubble wrap or foam corners, and placed in reinforced boxes or timber crates (larger works). Canvases are face-to-face or protected by rigid boards. Parcels are marked fragile, include a packing list and care instructions, and are sent via tracked, insured courier. Please inspect on delivery and report damage within 48 hours.

Wall Hanging and Framing

JC Barber Art specializes in fine art Oil Painting and is a small business. The Buyer is responsible for wall hanging. Some pieces arrive framed, others unframed; this is shown on each artwork product, hardware and installation are not included. For professional framing or hanging, please contact a local framer, gallery, or installer.

Certificate of Authenticity

Art Prints & Gifts (Made to Order)

Each original oil painting and hand-painted craft from JC Barber Art & Oil Painting comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. It lists the artist, title, size, medium, completion date, and unique ID (signature location or edition). Signed and dated by the artist, the certificate proves authenticity and may include a photo, short artist note, and care tips. Keep it for insurance, resale, or exhibitions.

All fine art reproductions, canvas prints, and specialty gifts are custom-made to order in partnership with professional printing facilities. Because these items are produced specifically for you, they are shipped directly from the manufacturer to ensure the fastest and safest delivery. Please note that art prints and gifts will arrive in separate packaging from any original oil paintings you purchase, and they do not include a hand-signed Certificate of Authenticity. Canvas prints arrive ready to hang, while unframed paper prints are shipped rolled in protective postal tubes for you to frame locally.”
