Advent Door no: 6

A lovely hot christmas pudding with a sprig of holly on top is on Door no 6. A mix of flour, suet, figs and dried fruit, It is usually traditionally lit on fire with brandy before eating, you either love it or you don’t, but it is always better with cream. ‘So bring us some figgy pudding!’

Behind Door 6 is this tiny miniature oil on canvas, from some years back, it is 7x9 cm. This snowy winter scene is completely black and white except the tiny yellow warm windows. Perhaps there is a good warm fire going, and some lovely hot food, maybe some Christmas figgy pudding.
