Grab your ticket and fasten your seatbelts! My newly finished ‘Cosmos & Flight’ gallery is officially open, and you are invited on an expedition of a lifetime. 

This collection is designed to be a visual journey. Together, we take off from the tarmac, soar above the clouds at high altitude, and eventually break right through the stratosphere. From there, we leave Earth behind to explore the vibrant, swirling nebulas of unknown deep space, before finally making a safe return homeward. 

Looking at the sheer scale of this cosmic journey, you might assume I am quite the seasoned globetrotter! But the truth is actually quite the opposite. I haven’t been abroad since I was 14 years old, a two-week family holiday to Spain that was over 30 years ago. Even here in the UK, my travels are wonderfully simple and close to home, usually just a trip to Clacton or an occasional visit to Cornwall every few years. 

But that is the absolute magic of painting. You don’t need a passport, a suitcase, or a plane ticket to explore the universe. Through oil and canvas, I have been able to travel to the furthest reaches of the galaxy. It just goes to show: even if you are physically going nowhere, your imagination can take you absolutely everywhere!
